Cyncly’s Acquisition of Mobile Marketing

On 16 October, 2023, Cyncly announced an expansion of its flooring offering, with the addition of Mobile Marketing’s industry-tailored website and digital solutions.

We believe combining Mobile Marketing with the broader Cyncly flooring offerings will allow us to provide a truly seamless and complete solution for flooring retailers to grow profitably. We are incredibly excited to take this next step in our journey to enhance our overall offering to the flooring industry.

About the Acquisition 

Why has Cyncly acquired Mobile Marketing? What is your product strategy for Mobile Marketing and integrations into existing Cyncly products (e.g. RFMS and Pacific Solutions product suites)?

A: We believe combining Mobile Marketing with the broader Cyncly flooring offering will allow us to provide our customers with a truly seamless and complete offering across the full consumer journey. This journey begins with website and digital engagement, continues through to customer relationship management, measurement and estimation tools, with core processes connected by the industry’s leading enterprise resource management. We are excited to offer a true one-stop-shop for key digital solutions, tailored to our flooring customers. 

We will continue to offer our current flooring software suite, in addition to Mobile Marketing’s website and digital solutions. In the near-term, we are investing to enhance the integrations between Mobile Marketing and products from our other Cyncly flooring business unit brands (RFMS and Pacific Solutions).

Cyncly is taking steps to support Mobile Marketing’s future growth. As a part of the Cyncly platform, Mobile Marketing will access Cyncly’s best-in-class sales and marketing, regionally tailored customers service, and decades of global R&D experience. We look forward to working with the existing Mobile Marketing team to help achieve these ambitions by utilizing these proven strategies and expertise.

Products and Operations 

Q: How will this acquisition impact Mobile Marketing’s integration with RFMS and Pacific Solutions? 

A: In the near-term, we will be investing in engineering resources to enhance the integration between Mobile Marketing and RFMS/Pacific Solutions products to deliver a seamless customer experience. Our customers can expect to see steady improvement of integration through 2024.

Q: What will be your approach to other third-party ERP integrations currently with Mobile Marketing? 

A: We will continue to support and encourage third-party ERP integrations with Mobile Marketing solutions. We have no intention of limiting or terminating the ability for Mobile Marketing customers to work with the ERP that best meets their needs.

Q: What will be your approach to visualization solutions and the collaboration with Roomvo? 

A: We intend to continue providing flooring visualization solutions through the partnership with Roomvo. We look forward to strengthening the relationship between our two companies.

Q: Do you intend to create your own buying group or enter into flooring product distribution? 

A: Cyncly is a software company. We will continue to provide best-in-class software solutions to customers within flooring and across other markets. We have no intention of becoming a buying group or selling flooring products. We will maintain and expand our relationships with industry networks and buying groups so that together we can provide the most to our customers. We look forward to growing alongside our trusted partners.

Q: How will day-to-day operations be affected for current Cyncly and Mobile Marketing customers?  

A: Day-to-day operations and processes, including invoicing and key contacts remain unchanged. We expect Mobile Marketing to gradually benefit from the broader Cyncly platform and resources, and will communicate updates clearly as they arise.

Cyncly and Mobile Marketing Strategy 

Q: Do you intend to sell Mobile Marketing’s offering beyond flooring customers into other Cyncly end markets (e.g. Kitchen, Bathrooms, Furniture, Windows or Doors)?  

A: Our primary focus with Mobile Marketing is ensuring a best-in-class flooring solution suite. In the future, we may look to expand Mobile Marketing’s offering across other end markets if this allows us to better serve our customers’ needs.

Q: Will you pursue further software acquisitions in the flooring industry?   

A: Our goal is to put the needs of our customers first in everything we do. We may expand our solution suite with further acquisitions in the future if it allows us to better serve our customers and contribute to the success of the flooring industry as a whole.
