The LT54 TriCoder ™ portable bar code reader is battery operated and stores scanned or keyed data in its memory for later batch uploading to a computer. With the built in laser scanner this reader is perfect for taking physical inventory, receiving items into stock, - actually any application where enterprise mobility and remote data collection are needed!
The LT54 has an integrated high speed Laser Scanner built right into the top of the unit for true "one-handed" operation. No additional scanner is needed and there are no scanner cables to plug in. Simply press the green scan bar with your thumb for quick laser scanning. The TriCoder™ also operates as a dual mode reader and actually performs the function of two different types of bar code readers:
- A traditional portable "Data Collection" bar code reader
- A "dumb" fixed reader operating in "Nonportable" mode
