RFMS Celebrates 25th Anniversary

TUSCALOOSA, AL—Resource & Financial Management Systems, Inc. (RFMS, Inc.) an industry leader in business management software and services for floorcovering operations is celebrating its silver anniversary. For 25 years, RFMS has been at the forefront of software development designed specifically for the floorcovering industry, providing its clients with state-of-the-art software and training solutions.

RFMS was started by Terry Wheat, who owned a full service flooring store in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  It was started out of a need for software that was specific to flooring that Terry could use to run his own store.  This began in 1983.  The first user of the system began using the software in 1984 and is still an active user of the software.  The company and software was designed and built from scratch specifically for the floor covering industry.  What started as a small software program for individual need has evolved into a global software system, with installations across the US, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand and Canada in over 7,000+ locations.  The RFMS suite of products include the core business management program, the #1 takeoff estimating and bidding software (Measure by RFMS), labor scheduling, commercial bidding and project management, ECommerce and Sales Contact Management programs.
